Job Summary
Design and maintain dashboards and reports to drive strategic decision-making while conducting data quality audits and managing mass data loads. Oversee foundational data structures and system integrations between Workday, benefits platforms, and internal systems, troubleshooting issues as they arise. Analyze and configure HRIS modules to meet organizational needs, acting as a liaison between HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Lead testing efforts for system upgrades and serve as a subject matter expert providing advanced troubleshooting support and training to HR staff. This full-time, year-round position reports to the Director of Compensation, Benefits and HR Systems and requires on-campus presence three or more days per week.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- At least two years of relevant experience in HRIS, HR systems, or systems analysis
- Solid understanding of administrative software systems and data integration
- Experience gathering requirements, analyzing business processes, and creating clear business process documentation
- Demonstrated ability to investigate technical issues, identify data gaps, and design efficient, proactive solutions
- Excellent verbal and written skills with a proven ability to translate complex technical concepts for a diverse, non-technical audience
- Ability to work on campus three or more days per week
- Reside in MA, NY, CT, or VT
- Ability to work productively both independently and as part of a service-focused, cross-functional team
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in higher education
- Experience implementing and maintaining cloud administrative applications (e.g., Workday, SAP, Oracle)
- Experience with reporting tools (e.g., BI tools, Query Manager, or similar)
- HR Certification (SHRM or HRCI)
