Job Summary
HRIS Analyst for a benefits-focused workday environment. Responsible for administration, optimization, and financial integrity of a comprehensive employee benefits program, spanning health & welfare, retirement, and ancillary plans. Serves as SME across benefits operations, vendor management, financial reconciliation, and Workday Benefits administration. Key duties include configuring and testing benefits in Workday, managing carrier/TPA/broker relationships, handling eligibility and enrollment events, reconciliations, ACA/COBRA/401(k) compliance, benefits reporting, and cross-functional collaboration with HRIS, Payroll, Finance, and HR teams. The role supports open enrollment planning and driving process improvements for benefits operations efficiency. Requires Bachelor’s degree (preferred) and hands-on Workday Benefits experience; advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related field preferred
- Experience administering complex employee benefits programs
- Hands-on experience with Workday Benefits configuration and administration
- Strong experience managing vendor relationships (carriers, TPAs, brokers)
- Experience with self-billing and invoice reconciliation
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, reconciliations)
- Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with large or multi-state populations preferred
- Exposure to self-funded plans, renewals, or implementations preferred
- CBP, CEBS, or related certifications preferred
