HRIS Analyst (Human Resource Information System Analyst)

Job Summary
Manage HRIS permissions, access, and system settings while collecting, compiling, and analyzing HR data to support recruitment, retention, and compliance initiatives. Process data change requests, resolve user access issues, and generate reports for senior executives and HR staff. Recommend process improvements, policy changes, and custom functions such as automated queries and macros to maximize system efficiency. Assist HR leadership with staffing, recruiting, and departmental budgets, while advising management on employment regulations and compensation policies. Continuously update HR knowledge and HRIS application tools through training and trend analysis.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Psychology, or related field
- Thorough understanding of all areas of information systems
- Highly technical understanding of at least one commercial HRIS product
- Extensive knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods
- Extensive knowledge of human resource laws, regulations and best practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle data with confidentiality
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move more than 15 pounds
- Must be available to occasionally travel
- Must be available to occasionally work nights, weekends, and non-standard hours
Desired Qualifications
- At least three years of experience in related areas such as job classification and compensation, recruitment, selection, training, employee benefits, and/or equal opportunity compliance
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification
- Previous ADP experience
