HRIS Analyst (12-month fixed-term)

Job Summary
Manage position and employee movement activity across people systems, including new joiners, role changes, and departures, while ensuring workforce changes are implemented accurately and seamlessly. Maintain data quality and integrity across systems to provide a trusted single source of truth, acting as the go-to person for BambooHR and ServiceNow administration, permissions, reporting, and troubleshooting. Partner with Payroll, People, and Digital teams to support seamless workforce administration, provide accurate workforce data and insights, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement across processes and employee experience. Resolve issues, provide guidance and training, and manage vendor relationships to ensure systems meet evolving organisational needs. This 12-month fixed-term NZ L14 role is based in Auckland, Wellington, or Christchurch and requires New Zealand work rights.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience working with HRIS platforms and position management processes
- Strong attention to detail and a track record of maintaining high-quality data
- Experience managing employee movements and organisational changes within a medium to large organisation
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and experience working with workforce data and reporting
- Strong problem-solving capability and the ability to manage complex workforce and system scenarios
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience collaborating across People, Payroll, Digital and operational teams
- New Zealand work rights
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with BambooHR
- Exposure to systems such as ServiceNow or PowerBI
- Experience working in an international organisation, supporting complex or volumes of workforce activity
- Using AI tools to improve productivity
