Job Summary
The HRIS Administrator will align information technology expertise with domain knowledge of human resource processes to optimize the organization’s HR practices. Essential functions include supporting Workday HCM and related HR modules, maintaining the Workday Employee Landing Page and Help content, developing and implementing efficient Workday business processes, reports, dashboards, and system enhancements, ensuring governance and testing procedures, coordinating with IT and vendors, troubleshooting end-user and system issues, maintaining data integrity and audits, delivering training and resources, and supporting release management and compliance activities. The role requires collaboration with HR managers and stakeholders, a focus on data privacy and internal controls, and a proactive approach to automation opportunities and process improvements. Education and experience requirements emphasize a bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of related HCM/HRIS experience, with preferred Workday-specific expertise and strong analytical abilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, business administration, HR management, or similar
- Three (3) – five (5) years related HCM system experience
- Three (3) – five (5) years related HR experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Working knowledge of SaaS systems and Cloud Hosted Software
- Workday HCM Advanced Reporting experience (preferred)
- Workday module experience including recruitment, benefits, payroll, etc. (preferred)
- Strong HR best practices understanding and HR concepts
- Experience analyzing HCM performance metrics and improving processes
- Diagnostic tests and audits experience
- Proficiency in HRM software such as ADP and Workday HCM
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to learn system upgrades and new systems
- Excellent interpersonal skills
