Job Summary
As an HR Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will implement strategic HR initiatives, providing support in talent management, employee relations, and organizational development. Key responsibilities include HR operations, performance management, compensation planning, talent acquisition, and policy development. You will partner with leaders to shape and execute people strategies that foster engagement and performance, while coaching managers on HR best practices and implementing continuous improvements of HR processes. You will leverage strong communication and interpersonal skills to influence at all organizational levels and demonstrate leadership within a collaborative environment.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced degree plus 6 years of experience in HR
- Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of experience in HR
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and compliance requirements
- Excellence in talent management including recruitment, performance management, and employee development
- Proven ability to build partnerships and influence at all organizational levels
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Strategic mindset with ability to translate long-term vision into actionable plans
- Strong decision-making capabilities and adaptability
- Project management expertise and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Demonstrated leadership skills with high degree of professionalism and integrity
- Experience using HR information systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Change management and organizational development experience
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Solutions-oriented approach with strong focus on results
