HR Technology Project Manager

Job Summary

Develop and maintain project plans covering requirements, design, testing, deployment, and hypercare for HR technology initiatives supporting the US employee experience. Coordinate cross-functional teams across HR, IT, Operations, and business stakeholders to deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget. Identify, assess, and drive mitigation for project risks, issues, and dependencies while managing vendor and partner relationships. Facilitate working sessions, status meetings, and decision forums to align business and technical teams, resolve conflicting priorities, and document outcomes. Monitor project status, consolidate workstream reports, and ensure operational readiness through transition to operational ownership. This hybrid role in Detroit requires reporting to the office at least three times weekly.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience delivering projects within enterprise-level organizations
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional projects from planning through implementation and operational handoff
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Demonstrated success working in an agile or hybrid project delivery environment
  • Solid understanding of HR processes, technology implementations, and business change impacts
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence and emerging HR technology trends
  • Must be able to report to a specific location at least 3 times a week
  • This role is not eligible for relocation benefits; any relocation costs would be the responsibility of the selected candidate

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or similar)
