Job Summary
HR Technology Analyst specializing in Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking, and Benefits at nVent. Design and apply deep Workday expertise to govern complex payroll, accrual, and time configurations; drive innovation across pay related processes; lead cross functional initiatives; translate business needs into clear user-focused system designs. Responsible for testing, deployment, and maintenance of Workday configuration, supporting integrations, data quality validation, and documentation. Back-up for other HRIS Analysts; collaborate with COE leaders to influence design decisions and resolve complex Workday issues; ensure compliant, high-quality HR technology solutions.
Required Qualifications
- B.S/B.A. in Computer Science, Human Resources, or related field; or an equivalent in combined education and work experience
- 4+ years of Workday configuration experience with a strong focus on Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking
- Bilingual, strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish is required
- Proven success designing complex pay calculation rules, accrual configurations, time valuation, eligibility, and payroll workflows
- Workday technical skills; Studio, EIBs and reports required
- Experience with time clocks, Dormakaba preferred
- Payroll, Time Tracking required; Absence preferred, Benefits, Project Time Tracking and Attendance Tracking experience are a plus
