Job Summary
Lead the company-wide Performance Management agenda within Talent Development. Design and run the end-to-end performance cycle (annual/semiannual) from goal setting through in-cycle execution, review, and feedback. Develop performance criteria, rules, and guidelines, and ensure consistent application across the company. Collect, visualize, and analyze performance data and provide insights to management. Serve as the primary point of contact for performance management inquiries, issue triage, and stakeholder coordination (e.g., HRBPs and business leaders). Partner with the L&D owner to consolidate learning needs based on performance outcomes and support solution design. Define, implement, and operate the performance management framework aligned to individual, team, and organizational goals; plan the performance cycle and manage execution; prepare and support review processes; identify drivers of performance challenges and implement improvements. Maintain governance by updating guidance and ensuring policies are applied consistently; provide ad-hoc support to improve goal setting and feedback quality. Requires 2+ years of PM or Talent Development experience, a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred), strong stakeholder management, program/operations management skills, confidentiality, and excellent Japanese and English communication. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, plus strong analytical and facilitation skills, and the ability to work in a multicultural, collaborative environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in Performance Management and/or Talent Development (experience in a consulting firm is a plus)
