Job Summary
HR Systems Analyst responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of the HRIS (Workday) and integrated systems. Leads testing for lifecycle CRs and Workday bi-annual updates, collaborates with HR Systems to align the HR pipeline with Azure backlog, develops and maintains job aids and SOPs, monitors HR integration logs and ServiceNow requests, provides frontline support to HR teams, performs quarterly Workday security audits, and contributes to continuous improvement of HR systems. Requires Experience with Workday HCM modules (Core HR, Benefits, Compensation, Talent Management), HR analytics/reporting, system implementations/upgrades, and strong Microsoft tooling. This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 3 days on-site per week in Ottawa, Canada.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma with a specialization in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, or related area OR High School Diploma with equivalent HR experience (5+ years)
- Experience with HRIS systems such as Workday, Azure, DevOps or other HRIS/HRMS
- Experience with HR analytics and reporting tools
- Experience in system implementations, upgrades, and migrations
- Experience in testing system changes (functional, regression, integration)
- Advanced knowledge of HR policies and procedures
- Knowledge of NAV CANADA’s organization and structure
- Proficiency with Microsoft tools (Excel, Forms, Word)
- In-depth knowledge of Workday HCM modules (Core HR, Benefits, Compensation, Talent Management)
- Ability to handle confidential information and work independently or in a team
- Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
- Flexibility with hybrid onsite work arrangement
