Job Summary
Internship-style HR Staffing Coordinator role in Union, NJ, focusing on coordinating staffing and recruiting processes, sourcing candidates, conducting initial interviews, onboarding, and maintaining HR records. Requires strong communication, multitasking, organizational skills, familiarity with ATS and HRIS, and ability to work a flexible schedule (preferably five days per week). Unpaid 6-month internship with potential extension; office-based in Union, NJ. Bilingual abilities (Spanish, Portuguese, or Creole) preferred. Training and onboarding responsibilities, plus collaboration with Case Management Supervisor to align staffing needs.
Required Qualifications
- At least a year of HR Recruiting or Staffing Coordination experience
- Current college student, or recent graduate
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience in Applicant Tracking Systems
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience in HRIS Software
- Must consent to and pass a formal background check including fingerprinting
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship; no H-1B sponsorship
