Job Summary
Implement the People/Staff planning strategy for the Delft store by analyzing business data and people analytics to determine optimal staffing levels and timing. Process data to create optimal roosters for departments, identify roster pain points, and discuss them with managers while ensuring compliance with IKEA employment standards, collective labor agreements, and regulations. Advise managers on staff planning topics including availability, contract mix, and vacation planning in a proactive leadership role. Contribute to future staff planning development, such as self-scheduling tools, and transfer knowledge by training new managers and presenting data to the management team.
Required Qualifications
- experience in giving advice
- experience with change projects
- proactive attitude and flexibility in thinking and acting
- experience with roster programs, preferably with UKG Pro/Dimensions
- advanced knowledge of Excel
- good communication skills in both English and Dutch
- passion for people and their well-being
- understanding of the impact of a good roster for both employees and the business
- open and approachable
- belief that teamwork is the key to success
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree preferred
