Job Summary
Manage employee relations and performance matters while maintaining accurate, up-to-date employee records. Respond to employee inquiries via the HR ticket system and assist with benefit questions. Conduct stay and exit interviews, monitor social media reputation, and draft proposed responses. Coordinate employee engagement events and promote HR programs to improve the employee experience. Analyze HR metrics including time to hire and turnover rates. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal HR laws across multiple states. Support the talent acquisition team and perform administrative duties related to vendor payments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, health systems management, business administration, or related fields
- Working knowledge of local, state and federal HR policies/guidelines/laws
- Professional knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams)
- A proactive, high-energy attitude geared towards achieving continuous improvement and learning
- Excellent communication and people skills with ability to pivot as needed
- Must perform other related duties and assist with project completion as needed
- Team member may be required to provide necessary information to complete a DMV (or equivalent agency) background check
Desired Qualifications
- Paychex preferred
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related fields, or equivalent experience in a human resources setting
- Minimum of 2-3 years' experience working as an HR Coordinator, HR Administrator, or HR Business Partner
- Onboarding experience
- 1+ year(s) of experience with Payroll or HRIS systems
- Demonstrated understanding of HR policies and procedures
- Experience conducting exit interviews, grievances and other employee relations functions
- Multi-state experience - Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Missouri, Kansas, Kentucky, West Virginia, Texas, Oregon, Washington, and Alaska
