Job Summary
Lead full-cycle recruitment for assigned positions by partnering with hiring managers on workforce needs, job postings, candidate assessment, and selection. Support and enhance the organization's employer brand and recruitment processes while analyzing talent, recruitment, compensation, and DEI metrics to identify trends and recommend improvements. Coordinate and administer compensation and total rewards programs, including salary benchmarking, pay equity analysis, and annual compensation planning. Design, implement, and continuously improve learning and development programs for managers and employees across the organization. Support the development and execution of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategies and employee engagement activities to foster an inclusive workplace culture. Collaborate with leaders and employees to implement people programs, provide guidance on best practices, and ensure a consistent positive employee experience. Contribute to strategic HR projects such as employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and organizational development efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a progressive HR function, in a high-volume, fast paced work environment
- Prior experience focused on talent acquisition, learning and development, organization design, total rewards or other HR competencies
- Degree or certification in Human Resources, or equivalent experience
- Comprehensive understanding of employment standards, laws and regulations in BC and Alberta
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Effective project planning skills and experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- A flexible and adaptable approach to changing priorities and business needs
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships
