Job Summary
HR Specialist to support day-to-day HR operations including onboarding and offboarding, HR compliance, payroll coordination, HRIS management, employee support, and operational HR execution. Collaborate with leadership, recruiters, payroll, and employees to ensure HR processes are accurate, compliant, and efficient. Responsibilities include posting/managing job openings, screening resumes, coordinating interview scheduling, onboarding/offboarding tasks (I-9, E-Verify, tax forms, direct deposit, orientation), maintaining employee records in HRIS (BambooHR, ADP, Gusto, Zenefits), payroll coordination, benefits enrollment, multi-state compliance, policy documentation, and providing employee support. Remote role with US business hours and opportunities to improve workflows and scalability.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of HR support, HR operations, or people operations experience
- Experience using HRIS platforms such as BambooHR, ADP, Gusto, Zenefits or similar systems
- Familiarity with U.S. labor law compliance
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and HR reporting tools
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
