Job Summary
HR Specialist will lead onsite HR initiatives supporting leadership and Outfitters in the store in staffing, training, engagement, orientation and onboarding, and administrative excellence. Additionally, this role will assist the General Manager with administrative functions as needed. Essential functions include supporting staffing for hourly outfitters, ensuring training completion/monitoring, processing HR actions in HRIS/Payroll/Scheduling system, maintaining confidentiality, coordinating associate recognition, communicating HR policies, ensuring compliance and record keeping, supporting performance management and succession planning, resolving first-level outfitter issues, and providing travel coordination for store Outfitters and leaders. Requires independent judgment under general supervision, with occasional travel and a focus on accuracy, relationship-building, and operational effectiveness. Required Qualifications
- Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Preferred Degree: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources
- Years of experience: 1-3 years human resources and administrative/office experience
- Knowledge, Skills, AND ABILITY: Proficiency in Windows, Excel, Word, PowerPoint; Strong verbal and written communication; Ability to calculate figures; ability to analyze data
