Job Summary
HR Specialist collaborates with branch leaders, field teams, and corporate departments to ensure compliant HR processes across Florida locations, with a focus on onboarding, licensing and certification compliance, and regulatory documentation. Responsibilities include managing the New Hire Onboarding Audit Report and Onboarding Smartsheet, auditing onboarding requirements, maintaining compliance documentation for employees and independent contractors, facilitating off-boarding from EMRs/Registries post-termination, participating in HR projects and training, and supporting regulatory reviews and surveys. Requires strong communication, organizational skills, and experience with healthcare regulatory bodies; proficiency in UKG is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred; PHR/SPHR preferred
- 3 years of Human Resources experience preferred; experience working with healthcare regulatory bodies required
- Must have prior home care/home health experience in HR
- UKG experience preferred
- Comfortable working in a fast paced, multi-site environment
- Must have good communication and organization skills; detail oriented
- Knowledge of federal and state employment laws
- Experience handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion
