Job Summary
HR Specialist responsible for payroll and benefits administration, HRIS data management, and compliance support. Manages HR systems maintenance, benefits administration, payroll processing, leave management (FMLA/ADA), audits support, and provides reports and analyses. Serves as liaison between HR and external HRIS vendors, handles open enrollment, claims disputes with providers, verification of employment, and ensures regulatory compliance across federal, state, and local laws. Requires ADP Payroll/Workforce Now proficiency, knowledge of overtime regulations, experience with timekeeping/workforce systems, meticulous data entry, and strong communication skills; preferably with experience in corporate or manufacturing environments.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience with ADP Payroll software and benefits, including ADP Workforce Now
- Knowledge of qualified overtime regulations and payroll compliance requirements
- Experience with timekeeping and workforce management systems (e.g., E-Time and Ceridian Dayforce)
- Excellent data entry skills with strong attention to detail
- Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Advanced MS Office skills and comfort learning new technical systems
- Strong organizational and time management skills
