Job Summary
HR Specialist 1 providing frontline HR support to employees and managers across Benefits, Staffing, Compensation, HRIS, Leave Administration, and Employee & Labor Relations. Responsibilities include resolving HR inquiries via phone and ticketing, educating customers on company policies, managing HR case workflow from opening to closing, coaching and advising managers and employees, maintaining HR knowledgebase and procedures, ensuring SLA targets are met, maintaining employee records in compliance with legal requirements, and contributing to HR portal content. Requires solid HR basics, strong communication and customer service skills, ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail, analytical problem-solving, and the capacity to work independently and collaboratively in an office environment. Education: High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree and HR certification preferred. Minimum of three years HR experience is expected. HR certification preferred.
