Job Summary
HR Site Leader role in Ieper, Belgium. Owns end-to-end HR agenda for the Belgian site (~180 employees), acts as trusted advisor to local leadership, coaches employees, and bridges site realities with the broader HR organization. Delivers operational excellence and strategic insight to shape a human, compliant, scalable work environment. Leads a small HR team, drives talent, learning, and workforce initiatives, chairs the local work council, ensures Belgian labor law compliance, and translates global HR strategies into practical local solutions. Requires university degree or equivalent, 10+ years HR generalist experience, fluent Dutch and English, and strong knowledge of Belgian social legislation and labor relations.
Required Qualifications
- University degree or equivalent experience in HR, Business Administration or a related field
- Proven experience (10+ years) in an HR generalist role
- Experience leading a small team
- Strong knowledge of Belgian social legislation and labor relations
- Demonstrated experience advising leaders and managing complex employee relations cases
- People-centric approach supported by data and processes
- Ability to turn insight into actions based on business strategies
- Familiar working with Matrix organisation, reporting to Country HR and Business Line HR
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, additional languages are a plus
