Job Summary
Provide operational and employee relations support across a manufacturing facility by partnering with leaders to deliver responsive guidance on policies, staffing, and compliance. Conduct workplace investigations, document findings, and recommend actions while resolving people-related issues effectively. Coordinate recruiting and hiring activities to support staffing requirements, ensuring employment decisions comply with applicable laws and company policies. Prepare reports, maintain accurate employee records, and communicate changes to HR programs and benefit plans. Assist in preparing responses to unemployment claims and government inquiries while supporting food safety and regulatory requirements. Exercise independent judgment within established policies to maintain a compliant, engaged, and productive workplace that supports operational performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.
- 2 years of progressive human resources experience.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and human resources practices.
- Strong employee relations, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive information.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Ability to build productive working relationships across all organizational levels.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and make timely decisions within established policies.
