Job Summary
Provide operational and employee relations support to enable consistent execution of human resources programs across a manufacturing facility. Partner with leaders and employees to deliver responsive guidance on employee relations, staffing, policy administration, compliance, and workforce support. Conduct workplace investigations, document findings, and recommend appropriate actions to Human Resources leadership. Coordinate recruiting and hiring activities to support staffing requirements and workforce continuity. Prepare reports and maintain accurate employee records that support business operations and regulatory compliance. Ensure employment decisions are administered consistently and comply with applicable employment laws and company policies. This role supports food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements by complying with applicable Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Safe Quality Food (SQF), and organizational standards where applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.
- 2 years of progressive human resources experience.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and human resources practices.
- Strong employee relations, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive information.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Ability to build productive working relationships across all organizational levels.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and make timely decisions within established policies.
