Job Summary
HR Operations Supervisor - Payroll oversees the Managed Payroll Team and the processes used to support PuzzleHR clients, supervising daily payroll operations, developing staff, delivering client-ready payroll solutions, creating SOPs, providing training, and driving process improvements to ensure accurate, compliant payroll processing across a multi-client portfolio. The role requires strong communication, confidential data handling, internal controls, and the ability to collaborate with HR leadership to optimize service delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Minimum of three (3) years of related human resources experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment
- Minimum of two (2) years in related HCM experience
- Advanced understanding of HR and payroll best practices
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Ability to learn and navigate HR systems and platforms (e.g., payroll, benefits, ATS, HRIS)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with changing priorities and deadlines
- Demonstrated eye for process improvement
