HR Operations Specialist Iberia (temporary)

Job Summary
Act as a strategic partner to the Iberia HRBPs, ensuring alignment of People strategies across the region. Lead and optimize the entire employee lifecycle (onboarding, leave management, and offboarding) and ensure full legal and operational compliance of contractual documentation and internal policies for Spain and Portugal. Maintain digital employee files, govern HR data with GDPR compliance, coordinate payroll inputs with the external vendor, administer benefits and flexible remuneration, and execute annual Compensation and Benefits processes. Serve as the primary Tier 1/2 HRIS support for Iberia, maintain Workday master data, build dashboards, and drive automation across People Ops workflows. Collaborate on regional and global HR initiatives and advise on labor law changes impacting Iberia. Strong emphasis on process optimization, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration across Europe. The role is based in Barcelona, Spain, on a temporary contract with hybrid working arrangements (2 days home office per week).
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in HR Operations
- Strong expertise in Spanish and Portuguese labor regulations
- Fluent in Spanish, advanced English
- Tech savvy: Workday, Google Drive, Notion
