Job Summary
Lead full-cycle recruiting and onboarding for blue-collar permanent and temporary roles while overseeing payroll, compensation, and health & safety matters for the production team. Manage labour relations, including grievances and union negotiations, and support performance management cycles with goal setting and evaluations. Serve as the primary contact for plant HR KPIs, labour cost control, and productivity reports using Cognos, while tracking training compliance and identifying high-potential staff for succession planning. Provide day-to-day HR support across employee relations, benefits administration, and internal communications in close collaboration with Plant Leadership. Maintain a strong presence on the manufacturing floor to identify operational challenges and opportunities for continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- HRIS and employee data management in SAP SuccessFactors
- Payroll and time & attendance systems
- Knowledge of labour laws and HR compliance
Desired Qualifications
- Professional HR designation (CHRP/CPHR) is an asset
- Experience working with Dayforce is an asset
- HR reporting and people analytics
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Power BI
