HR Operations Analyst/Associate in Spain (fixed-term contract) overseeing payroll, regulatory reporting, risk and control, auditing readiness, and local HR activities. Responsibilities include payroll administration, onboarding, transfers, mobility, handling HR queries, maintaining documentation, ensuring data privacy compliance, and supporting audits. Requires demonstrated experience in HR operations and payroll, strong Spanish and English skills, knowledge of Spain labour laws, and proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint; ability to streamline processes and develop SOPs; proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work within a risk and control framework.
Required Qualifications
- Proven HR experience in Operations and Payroll
- Ability to prioritize and deliver results within targets in a deadline-driven environment
- Experience planning and executing projects involving recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and regulatory changes
- Strong Spanish language, fluency in English
- Good working knowledge of Spain labour laws, regulations, and market practices
- Excellent Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint skills
- High degree of self-organization to manage multiple tasks and good teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills, and autonomy
- Strong analytical skills with thorough attention to detail and capability to work in a Risk & Control framework
