Job Summary
HR Officer responsible for end-to-end human resources operations across onboarding, confirmations, transfers, promotions, separations, and compliance; ensure consistent HR policies and confidentiality of records; oversee recruitment, payroll, benefits, employee relations, performance management, and learning initiatives; coordinate with vendors and audits; manage HRIS data, reporting, and workforce planning; drive engagement and organizational development aligned with NGO sector needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 4-6 years of progressive HR experience with exposure to HR operations, employee lifecycle management, recruitment, compliance, and employee relations
- Postgraduate qualification or certification in Human Resources Management preferred
- Knowledge of the NGO business sector; Knowledge of institutional funders for international development is a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with HRIS or payroll systems is a plus
- Practical knowledge of local country generally accepted accounting principles and fiscal statutes
- Experience with accounting systems
