Job Summary
Wawona Frozen Foods is seeking a qualified HR Manager to oversee employee relations, talent acquisition, HR policy implementation, and compliance with labor laws, reporting to the Director of HR. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree and at least five years of experience in HR management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field
- Minimum of five years of human resources management experience preferred
- Alignment with the company's mission and core values
- Understanding of state and federal employment regulations
- Understanding of personnel and compliance records management
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to lead and motivate team members
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred (read and write)
- Extensive experience in HR management, with an in-depth knowledge of HR principles and best practices
- Ability to collaborate effectively with leadership and legal teams on complex issues
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility in duties and assignments
- Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Expert user in ATS/HRIS programs to build out job postings, data management, onboarding, EDI feeds, etc.
