Job Summary
HR Manager role focused on building and scaling HR infrastructure; responsibilities include full-cycle recruiting for hourly, skilled trades, and professional roles; payroll support in Workday; HR compliance and policy development; training and development; employee relations; HRIS data management; and partnering with senior leadership (President and HRBP) to drive organizational effectiveness in a non-union manufacturing/distribution environment.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience in manufacturing, distribution, or similar operational environment
- Hands-on experience with Workday (HRIS administration, payroll, or core HCM modules)
- Experience managing full-cycle recruiting for diverse roles
- Strong knowledge of Virginia and federal employment laws and HR compliance requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
