Job Summary
Serve as the primary HR contact for all day-to-day employee and manager needs across multi-site locations in Florida and California. Lead HR initiatives including Paylocity automation and process improvements while processing accurate biweekly, multi-state payroll. Support disciplinary actions, terminations, and investigations to ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws. Administer all benefit programs, open enrollment, and communications, while managing leaves of absence, accommodations, and workers' compensation claims. Handle unemployment claims, employment verifications, and HR documentation. Lead all recruiting activities, including sourcing, interviewing, offers, onboarding, and training coordination. Requires 5+ years of HR experience, a Bachelor's degree, and strong knowledge of multi-state employment laws.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of HR generalist or HR manager experience
- Bachelor's degree in HR or related field
- Solid knowledge of multi-state employment laws and regulations
Desired Qualifications
- SHRM-CP, PHR, or APA (FPC/CPP) certification a plus
- Paylocity experience strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
- Strong prioritization, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with professionalism
