HR Manager

Job Summary

Own day-to-day HR operations across the employee lifecycle, from onboarding through to offboarding, ensuring a consistent employee experience. Lead employee onboarding, including contracts, benefits administration, and systems setup. Act as the first point of contact for HR queries, providing guidance on policies, processes, and employment legislation. Maintain HR documentation, contracts, templates, and records in line with GDPR and employment legislation. Support absence management and employee relations cases in partnership with the VP of People. Support employee engagement initiatives and other People programmes. Own the operational delivery of recruitment from approved vacancy through to onboarding. Partner with hiring managers to deliver an efficient, high-quality recruitment process. Manage the ATS, interview coordination, candidate communications, offers, and pre-employment checks. Produce recruitment dashboards covering pipeline health, time-to-hire, source effectiveness, and other key metrics. Continuously improve recruitment processes, templates, and the candidate experience. Support employer branding and recruitment marketing activities. Own the administration and optimisation of HR systems, including HRIS, ATS, payroll integrations, compensation tools, and Employer of Record (EOR) platforms. Ensure the accuracy, integrity, security, and governance of HR data. Build and maintain dashboards covering workforce, recruitment, absence, compensation, and other people metrics. Identify opportunities to improve reporting, automation, system integrations, and AI-enabled workflows across HR operations. Maintain job families, career frameworks, and salary bands. Support annual compensation and performance review cycles through reporting and pay modelling. Prepare data for pay transparency and Gender Pay Gap reporting. Prepare and validate monthly payroll inputs and coordinate with external payroll providers. Respond to payroll, benefits, and compensation-related queries. Manage office vendors, facilities, and building management across both office locations. Ensure smooth day-to-day office operations and maintain the demo kitchen and office equipment inventory. Support HR transformation initiatives, including technology implementation, policy reviews, and process optimisation. Review and simplify HR processes, documentation, and ways of working. Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years' experience as an HR Manager, HR Operations Manager, People Operations Manager, HR Business Partner, or in a similar HR role within a scaling organisation
  • Third-level HR qualification
  • Strong HR technology capability, including HRIS, ATS, and other HR tools
  • Experience managing recruitment operations and a demonstrated ability of delivering an excellent candidate experience
  • Strong data management, reporting, and people analytics capability
  • Experience supporting payroll and compensation processes, and annual salary review cycles
  • Strong knowledge of Irish employment legislation
  • Experience reviewing and improving HR policies, processes, and documentation
  • Experience using AI tools to improve productivity, automate administrative tasks, enhance reporting, and support HR operations
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong judgement, discretion, and attention to detail when handling sensitive and confidential information
  • Empathetic, approachable, and people-focused, with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the organisation
  • A pragmatic, solutions-oriented mindset, balancing commercial needs with a genuine commitment to delivering an exceptional employee experience

Desired Qualifications
