Job Summary
Manage multiple HR functions by developing personnel rules, administering pay structures, and leading the talent review and succession planning process. Consult with business unit management to align organizational structures with strategic planning and resolve employee relations issues proactively. Interpret and implement HR policies for managers and teams while providing leadership coaching on complex compliance and affirmative action programs. Analyze data to improve organizational efficiency and drive a culture of growth within the manufacturing plant environment.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources; related graduate degree
- A minimum of 7 years HR experience in a manufacturing setting
- Previous plant HR leadership experience
- Knowledge of state and federal employment / labor laws and regulations
- Structured interviewing experience and presentation skills
- Experience in writing and evaluating programs associated with Affirmative Action and other compliance programs
- Ability to work with all levels of the organization collaboratively
- Service minded
- Strong follow up skills and customer focus
- Must be able to penetrate detail and yet keep it in perspective with the bigger picture of the business
- Must have interpersonal skills that develop and maintain trust and respect of employees
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently
- Proficiency with HRIS systems, Workday, digital collaboration tools, and modern HR metrics
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and HR procedures
- Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Close vision
- Ability to adjust focus
- Occasional travel
