Job Summary
Develop and implement HR policies compliant with manufacturing regulations while managing the full recruitment lifecycle for manufacturing and administrative positions. Oversee employee relations, administer compensation and benefits programs, and ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws. Lead performance management processes, deliver training programs for employee skills and safety, and maintain accurate records through HR information systems. This role requires a Bachelor's degree, five years of progressive HR experience including two in a manufacturing management setting, and knowledge of safety regulations. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience
- at least 2 years in a management role within a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state employment laws, regulations, and best practices specific to manufacturing
- Proven experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and HRIS utilization in a plant setting
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and their impact on HR policies and practices in manufacturing
Desired Qualifications
- SHRM-SCP certification
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to implement and manage HRIS systems
- Proven track record in labor relations and union contract negotiations
- Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin) to support a diverse workforce
