Job Summary
HR Manager/Generalist role reporting to the President with both administrative and strategic responsibilities. Manages HR programs including staffing, payroll, benefits, leave, compliance, employee relations and retention, and leads recruiting efforts, onboarding, performance programs, and safety training. Oversees benefits administration (Health, Wellness, retirement), open enrollment, policy development and updates, HRIS data accuracy, and employee communications. Requires 7+ years in an HR Generalist/Manager role, Bachelor’s degree (preferred) and PHR/SPHR (preferred), with experience in payroll (ADP Workforce Now), staffing/talent acquisition, and strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Location: Los Angeles, CA (onsite).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field
- PHR or SPHR preferred
- 7+ years of experience working in an HR Generalist/Manager role in a corporate setting
- Experience with staffing and talent acquisition
- Knowledge of governmental mandated policies relating to personnel administration, including prevailing labor laws
- Experience in a fast-paced environment with constant change
- Strong problem solving, reporting and analytical skills
- Superior knowledge of MS Office and HRMS/HRIS systems (preferably ADP & WorkforceNow)
