Job Summary
Strategic HR Manager to lead key people initiatives across a multi-state organization. Partners with executive leadership on workforce planning, organizational design, and change management; leads talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, and retention; oversees compensation, benefits, workers' compensation, and HR compliance; manages HR policies, handbook updates, and multi-state employment law compliance; drives employee development, onboarding, and recognition; mentors the HR team and fosters a people-first, values-driven culture; optimizes HR systems, reporting, and operational processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification
- 12+ years of progressive HR experience, including multi-state operations
- 5+ years in a senior HR leadership role
- Strong knowledge of employment law, wage & hour regulations, and Affirmative Action compliance
- Proven success building and scaling HR functions in a growing organization
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
