Job Summary
Lead HR strategy and operations for a manufacturing-focused organization. Serve as the primary HR leader and advisor to executive leadership, develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business objectives, and build scalable HR programs and processes. Ensure compliance with federal, California, Illinois, and local employment laws; oversee employee relations, leave administration, and performance management; drive full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and talent development; administer benefits and liaise with brokers/vendors; partner with Finance on payroll/data management; support compensation planning and incentive programs; enhance HR metrics, dashboards, and reporting; maximize use of ADP and HR technologies; drive continuous improvement and automation to enhance the employee experience; support workforce planning, change management, and potential acquisitions; maintain accurate HR documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience
- Strong expertise in California employment law, employee relations, compliance, leave administration, and HR operations
- Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or similar workforce environments
- Proven ability to operate independently and effectively manage a broad HR function
- Strong interpersonal, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills
