Job Summary
HR Manager responsible for managing human resource activities across the employment lifecycle (attraction, recruiting, onboarding, development, retention, offboarding). Develop and deliver employee training programs; advise on legal and regulatory compliance matters; lead and support employee engagement activities; analyze data to inform personnel decisions; maintain personnel records; create operational budgets; provide input and insight to compensation and benefits programs; ensure adherence to Canadian and US employment standards; leverage HRIS and MS Office tools to optimize HR processes.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Human Resources or Business
- minimum of three to five years in Human Resources
- Experience as a Human Resources Manager/Business Partner in a multiple Manufacturing or Distribution Center business unit environment
- Excellent communicator (written, verbal)
- Working knowledge of Canadian and US Employment Standards
- Strong understanding of HR data and metrics
- Strong computer skills including MS Office, HRIS (Payworks, Workable, Bamboo)
