Job Summary
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures ensuring compliance with legal regulations across four dealership sites. Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and offboarding, while managing employee relations and conflict resolution. Administer the Family and Medical Leave Act process and provide guidance on benefits and compensation. Develop and deliver training programs, maintain accurate HR records, and analyze metrics to recommend improvements. This onsite role requires up to 40% travel and full-time commitment. Sutton Auto, a family-owned enterprise established in 1989, operates four dealerships in Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Florida.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Proven track record as an HR Manager with 5 to 7 years experience
- Experience managing HR cycles across multiple sites
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR initiatives and programs that align with company strategy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively, meet deadlines, and work independently
- Strong analytical skills, including experience with HR-related data analysis and reporting
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with employees at all levels
