Job Summary
Local HR Manager responsible for leading key HR functions including employee relations, staffing, payroll and benefits administration, training, and workforce development. Partners with site leadership to support operational goals, drive employee engagement, and ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies. Responsibilities include maintaining workforce relations and investigations, advising managers on HR policies, workforce planning, recruiting and staffing strategies, managing payroll and benefits, coordinating supervisory and employee development training, and utilizing HRIS and reporting tools to analyze workforce data for decision-making. Qualifications require a Bachelor's degree in a related field and relevant HR experience; HR certifications (PHR/SPHR/SHRM) are preferred. Proficiency in employment law knowledge, communication, coaching, conflict resolution, and analytical skills is needed. Location is Groveport, OH (on-site).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field
- HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience
