HR Leave and Accommodation Specialist

Job Summary
Review FMLA requests, determine eligibility, and issue required notices while maintaining accurate, confidential leave records in compliance with HIPAA. Guide employees and supervisors on leave rights, timelines, and documentation, and coordinate with Payroll and benefits teams regarding leave status. Administer the interactive process for ADA accommodation requests, obtain medical documentation, and monitor return-to-work plans for effectiveness. Ensure ongoing compliance with federal and state laws related to leave administration and workplace accommodations. Work flexible, hybrid hours up to 20 weeks Monday through Friday. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience administering employee leave programs
- An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the position
- Knowledge of federal and state employment laws related to leave administration and workplace accommodations, including FMLA, ADA, PWFA, USERRA, and related regulations
- Experience administering FMLA and ADA programs

- Experience working in early childhood/educational settings
