HR Labor Relations Specialist

Job Summary
Lead the interpretation and implementation of company human resources policies and procedures while maintaining compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity regulations and external laws. Drive the development of employee relations programs, training initiatives, and performance standards to enhance morale and workforce development. Analyze issues regarding absenteeism, leave status, and safety to determine employee relations climate and recommend improvements. Recruit, interview, and reference applicants for open positions, representing the company in professional organizations and community affairs. Conduct internal investigations and audits regarding compliance, ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental programs. Operate as an advocate for both employees and the company, prioritizing at least 50% of time on workforce development and morale enhancement.
Required Qualifications
- bachelor's degree
- several years of relevant HR experience or 2+ years of direct HR-Employee Relations experience
- good command of written and spoken English

- advanced degree in a related field
- previous managerial experience
- previous experience in the manufacturing industry
