Job Summary
Assist with end-to-end employee lifecycle administration, including onboarding preparation, offboarding documentation, and maintaining accurate personnel records. Support the team in maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and filing systems to ensure documentation compliance. Help collect and verify HR data, update systems like Greenhouse, and prepare basic reports and presentations. Act as a point of contact for routine employee HR queries, escalating complex issues to the People Practitioner. Participate in ad-hoc engineering and HR projects by performing research, taking minutes, or coordinating meeting logistics. This 18-month contract offers training in technical and soft skills within Takealot's graduate programme, providing exposure to a fast-paced e-commerce environment.
Required Qualifications
- N6 Certificate in Human Resource Management
- Computer Literacy
- Strong Attention to Detail: Ability to handle data and documentation with high accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Time management and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) is essential
- Data interpretation and presentation
