Job Summary
HR Intern will support day-to-day HR administrative tasks, recruitment and onboarding, employee engagement initiatives, and contribute to HR projects within a DC museum environment. Responsibilities include data entry and filing of HR inquiries, assisting with job postings and candidate reviews (ADP Workforce), helping organize onboarding sessions and orientation materials, aiding with employee engagement activities, managing physical and electronic HR records, and supporting the HR team on foundations of Records, Organization & Onboarding. Ideal candidates possess strong communication, attention to detail, confidentiality, tech-savviness with MS Office, and a collaborative mindset.
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing certificate or undergraduate degree in Human Resources or related field
- Strong Communication Skills (verbal and written)
- Attention to Detail and confidentiality
- MS Office Suite experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Team player and collaboration with HR colleagues
