Job Summary
The HR Generalist will manage key human resources operations focused on payroll administration, including running multiple payroll schedules, end-to-end payroll processing, and HRIS administrative functions. Responsibilities include ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, preparing payroll-related reports, maintaining employee records, supporting onboarding and offboarding, and serving as a contact for payroll-related inquiries. Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree, 2–5 years of HR experience with payroll processing, strong Excel skills, and knowledge of payroll regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2–5 years of HR experience with hands-on payroll processing experience
- Experience managing multiple payroll cycles preferred
- Familiarity with payroll systems and HRIS platforms
- Strong Excel and data reporting skills
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of payroll regulations and employment laws
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with external payroll providers (e.g., ADP, Paychex, or similar)
- Experience with multi-state payroll processing
- Payroll Certification is a plus but not required
