Job Summary

The HR Generalist will manage key human resources operations focused on payroll administration, including running multiple payroll schedules, end-to-end payroll processing, and HRIS administrative functions. Responsibilities include ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, preparing payroll-related reports, maintaining employee records, supporting onboarding and offboarding, and serving as a contact for payroll-related inquiries. Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree, 2–5 years of HR experience with payroll processing, strong Excel skills, and knowledge of payroll regulations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2–5 years of HR experience with hands-on payroll processing experience
  • Experience managing multiple payroll cycles preferred
  • Familiarity with payroll systems and HRIS platforms
  • Strong Excel and data reporting skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Knowledge of payroll regulations and employment laws
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working with external payroll providers (e.g., ADP, Paychex, or similar)
  • Experience with multi-state payroll processing
  • Payroll Certification is a plus but not required
