Job Summary
The HR Generalist partners with senior HR leadership to foster a company culture focused on employee engagement, high performance, and alignment with business goals. Supports a broad range of HR functions including payroll and benefits administration, employee relations, onboarding/offboarding, policy implementation, recruitment, and employment law compliance. Serves as an employee advocate and change agent to drive organizational development and workforce effectiveness. Responsibilities include administering day-to-day HR operations, supporting recruitment and interviewing, coordinating onboarding and offboarding, handling HR policies and employee inquiries, benefits administration, ensuring compliance with federal/state/local laws, assisting with performance management, coordinating training and development, preparing HR reports and analytics, supporting compensation processes, and backing up other HR functions. Education: Bachelor's Degree required; 2+ years HR experience preferred; SHRM/PHR certification a plus. Location: Fort Wayne, IN, USA; Hybrid remote option.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Business or other related field
- Minimum 2 years Human Resources related experience preferred
- SHRM/PHR Certification a plus
