Job Summary
Serve as a primary HR resource for employees and leaders, providing guidance on policies, programs, and employment practices. Coordinate onboarding, orientation, job changes, and offboarding while maintaining accurate employee records and processing HR transactions. Assist managers with staffing, performance management, attendance, and employee development matters, including coaching and policy interpretation. Support recruiting, interviewing, and hiring activities, communicating workforce needs to HR leadership. Assist with investigations, performance issues, corrective actions, and conflict resolution, escalating complex matters to HR leadership. Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws, partnering with HR Operations, Compensation & Benefits, Safety, and payroll teams. Maintain accurate records and assist with audits and investigations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two (2) years of Human Resources experience in a generalist, specialist, coordinator, administrative, or related capacity
- Experience working with confidential information and maintaining discretion
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience supporting employees and managers in a multi-site or operational environment
- Experience with HRIS and workforce management systems
- PHR, SHRM-CP, or progress toward certification
