Job Summary
HR Generalist provides technical and administrative support across HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits, compliance and employee engagement. Supports HRIS data integrity, audits, and daily HR operations; partners with the team to ensure policy application and a positive workplace culture. Requires an Associate’s degree in HR-focused business studies (60 college credits) and a minimum of 2 years HR experience; must have a valid driver’s license and driving experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Publisher is expected; familiarity with Maryland Board of Nursing processes and related compliance activities is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree (or 60 college credits) in business with an HR focus required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years of HR experience, including exposure to recruitment, benefits, workers’ comp, FMLA, and leave management
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Publisher
- Valid driver’s license and two years driving experience required
