Job Summary
HR Generalist – Talent & Engagement responsible for leading full-cycle talent acquisition for staff, faculty, and student positions; coordinating onboarding and new employee orientation; driving employee engagement initiatives and programs; developing and distributing HR communications; and supporting HR programs to enhance workplace culture and employee experience. Key activities include partnering with hiring managers to develop recruitment strategies, sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating interviews, maintaining talent pipelines, leading onboarding resources, coordinating employee recognition and wellness initiatives, conducting engagement surveys and focus groups, and supporting leadership and employee development efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum three (3) years of recruiting, employee engagement, human resources, or related areas
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and HRIS platforms
- Knowledge of employment practices, HR processes, and compliance requirements
