Job Summary
HR Generalist role in Mississauga, onsite at Spectrum Health Care. Provide HR coaching and guidance aligned with best practices and company values; lead investigations on employee and labor relations issues; support managers and employees with performance management and development plans; drive change management; manage onboarding and offboarding; maintain accurate employee data and coordinate with Payroll/IT; roll out inclusive HR programs; contribute to HR strategy and continuous improvement. 4+ years HR experience in healthcare; experience in a unionized environment; post-secondary HR degree/diploma or certification; CHRP in progress or completed is an asset; strong MS Office and HRIS/ATS skills; salary $60,000-$75,000 CAD (converted estimate to USD: 44,400–55,500).
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years progressive experience in a Human Resources role in the healthcare industry
- Progressive experience in employee relations
- Experience working in a unionized environment required
- Post-secondary degree, diploma or certification in Human Resources Management
- CHRP in progress or completed an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
- Previous experience with a HRIS & ATS
