Job Summary
Part-Time HR Generalist supports day-to-day HR operations for Canada, averaging 20 hours/week with flexible scheduling during regular business hours and potential conversion to full-time by end of 2026. Responsibilities span recruitment and talent support (drafting/posting ads, initial outreach, interview logistics, reference checks, ATS upkeep), onboarding/offboarding (employment agreements, HRIS/payroll setup, onboarding check-ins), HR administration (employee files, benefits, payroll data validation), employee relations (first-line inquiries, escalation, communications), policy/compliance support, and involvement in HR projects and committee work. Required skills include knowledge of employment standards, full-cycle recruitment coordination, confidentiality, strong communication, HRIS/ATS proficiency, and ability to operate in a startup environment. Preferred qualifications include CHRP designation, bilingual English/French, and willingness to report to Rentsync offices in St. Catharines or Toronto.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 1 year of HR or Recruitment Experience in the workplace (including co-ops or internships)
- Fluent in English
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Able to report to one of Rentsync's regional offices
- Office presence in St. Catharines or Toronto (preferential)
- CHRP Designation (completed or in progress)
- Bilingual (English/French)
